7) Web analytics services

Matomo

This website uses a web analysis service from the following provider: InnoCraft Ltd, 150 Willis St, 6011 Wellington, New Zealand ("Matomo").

To protect visitors to the website, Matomo uses a "config_id" to enable various analyses of website usage in a short time window of up to 24 hours. The site's "config_id" is a random and time-limited hash of a limited set of visitor parameters and attributes. The "config_id" or hash of the configuration is a string calculated for a visitor based on their operating system, browser, browser plug-ins, IP address and browser language. Matomo does not use "device fingerprinting" and uses the anonymized IP address of the website visitor to create the "config_id".

Since the processed information may also contain personal user data, the processing is carried out in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) of the General Data Protection Regulation (GDPR) on the basis of our legitimate interest in the statistical analysis of user behavior for optimization and marketing purposes. To object to the future processing of your visitor data, we offer you a separate opt-out option on our website.

We have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which guarantees the data protection regulations for visitors to our website and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

As the data collected using Matomo technology (including your pseudonymized IP address) is transferred to the Matomo servers in New Zealand and used for analysis purposes, we would like to point out that the European Commission has issued a so-called adequacy decision for New Zealand. This certifies that New Zealand complies with European data protection standards for international data traffic.

8) Page functionalities

8.1 Google Maps

On our website, we use Google Maps (API) from Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 ESW5, Ireland ("Google"). Google Maps is a web service for displaying interactive (country) maps to visually display geographical information. Using this service shows you our location and makes it easier for you to find us.

When you access subpages that contain Google Maps, information about your use of our website (such as your IP address) is transmitted to Google and stored by Google. The use of Google Maps may also involve the transfer of personal data to Google LLC servers in the USA. This occurs regardless of whether Google provides you with a user account with which you are logged in or whether a user account exists. If you are logged in to Google, your information will be linked directly to your account.

If you do not want your profile to be linked to your Google account, you must log out before activating the button. Google stores your data (even for users who are not logged in) as usage profiles and analyzes them. Such an evaluation is carried out in particular in accordance with Article 6(1)(f) GDPR on the basis of Google's legitimate interests in the display of personalized advertising, market research and/or demand-oriented design of its website. You have the right to object to the creation of these user profiles. To exercise this right, you must contact Google.

If you do not wish to accept the transfer of your data to Google when using Google Maps in the future, you also have the option of completely blocking the Google Maps web service by deactivating the JavaScript application in your browser. In this case, Google Maps and thus the map display on this website can no longer be used.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has signed up to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which guarantees compliance with the European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

8.2 Google Web Fonts

This website uses web fonts from the following provider for the purposes of uniform presentation: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 ESW5, Ireland.

When you visit a page, your browser loads the required web fonts into your browser's cache in order to display texts and fonts correctly and establishes a direct connection to the provider's servers. In the process, some browser information, including your IP address, is transmitted to the provider.

The processing of personal data during the connection with the font provider only takes place if you have expressly consented in accordance with Article 6(1)(a) GDPR. You can revoke your consent at any time with effect for the future by deactivating this service using the "cookie consent tool" provided on the website. If your browser does not support web fonts, your computer will use a default font.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has signed up to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with a European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

8.3 Google reCAPTCHA

On this website we use the CAPTCHA service of the following provider: Google Ireland Limited, Gordon House, 4 Barrow St, Dublin, D04 E5W5, Ireland.

In addition, data may be transmitted to the following recipients: Google LLC, USA. For the visual display of the CAPTCHA window, the provider uses "Google Fonts", i.e. fonts that are downloaded from the Internet by Google. No information other than that already transmitted to Google via the ReCaptcha functionality is processed.

The service checks whether an entry is made by a natural person or in an unauthorized manner by automatic and automated processing, and blocks spam, DDoS attacks and similar malicious automated access. To ensure that an action is carried out by a human being and not by an automated robot, the provider collects the IP address of the terminal used, the identification data of the browser and operating system used as well as the date and duration of the visit and transmits them to the provider's servers for evaluation.

We have concluded an order processing contract with the provider, which guarantees the protection of the data of visitors to our website and prohibits unauthorized disclosure to third parties.

For data transfers to the USA, the provider has signed up to the EU-US Data Privacy Framework, which ensures compliance with a European level of data protection on the basis of an adequacy decision by the European Commission.

  • Right to rectification pursuant to Art. 16 GDPR;
  • Right to erasure pursuant to Art. 17 GDPR;

  • Right to withdraw consent granted pursuant to Art. 7 (3) GDPR;

When processing personal data on the basis of express consent in accordance with Art. 6 para. 1 lit. a GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject withdraws their consent.

If there are statutory retention periods for data that is processed within the framework of legal or similar obligations on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. b GDPR, this data will be routinely deleted after the retention periods have expired, provided that it is no longer required for contract fulfillment or contract initiation and/or we no longer have a legitimate interest in further storage.

When processing personal data on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject exercises their right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 1 GDPR, unless we can demonstrate compelling legitimate grounds for the processing which override the interests, rights and freedoms of the data subject, or the processing serves the establishment, exercise or defense of legal claims.

When processing personal data for the purpose of direct marketing on the basis of Art. 6 para. 1 lit. f GDPR, this data is stored until the data subject exercises their right to object in accordance with Art. 21 para. 2 GDPR.

Unless otherwise stated in the other information in this declaration on specific processing situations, stored personal data is deleted when it is no longer necessary for the purposes for which it was collected or otherwise processed.
